This pretty little square at the end of Ile de la Cité is one of the 5 royal squares of Paris, with Place des Vosges, Place de la Concorde, Place Vendome and Place des Victoire. It was erected in 1601, in honor of Dauphin Louis XIII. The pavilions bordering it recall the archiecture of the mansions of the Place des Vosges. In the extension of the square, go down at the Pont Neuf and discover the Vert-Galant Square. This little corner of paradise at the end of the island was built in honor of King Henry IV, nicknamed the Vert-Galant.

From there, came the idea of opening a shop where cabbages are made to order, to discover the alliance of crunchy dough and mellow cream. 4 flavors are offered: nature, chocolate, praline and caramel. In this sober and vintage shop, you can look through the window at the cabbage-making workshop! Yummy!
